This piece happened by accident. I was driving on my way to a shoot in midtown Manhattan. As the light turned red at the corner of 53rd Street and Lexington Avenue, I noticed this building, with this gorgeous light hitting it. With all the buildings surrounding it, which is fairly common in midtown Manhattan, they were casting some beautiful shadows and highlight across the building.

The depth that these highlight and shadows gave this building were amazing. This was the second fine art piece I’ve ever photographed and still one of my favorites.
