Madison Square Park. I love this area. I attended college at School of Visual Arts in NYC which was located at 23rd Street and Third Avenue. I spent many spring/summers days hanging in the park there, relaxing, reading or listening to music.

In early 2021 I was scheduled for a shoot a block from the Flatiron Building, right near the park. I was taking the train and it came in early so I had about 20 minutes to spare before my scheduled arrival time. I went to the park to buy some time.

Sitting on the park bench, I noticed this building which was fairly new. This building wasn't even a thought when I was back in college. The three-dimensional look of the squares poking out of the building really spoke to me so I set up my camera and grabbed this shot.

This is one of the few shots on my gallery which was taken from the ground. Enjoy the piece.
